WHAT IS THE LAST DAY TO FILE MY 2018 TAX RETURNS?

The deadline to file your 2018 tax return is April 15th, 2019. It's important to file your taxes on time to avoid incurring late fees and other penalties. To make sure you meet the deadline, it's best to get your taxes prepared and filed as early as possible.

There are a few exceptions to the April 15th deadline. For example, if you are a US citizen living abroad, you may be able to get an extension to June 17th, 2019. Additionally, if you are in the military and serving in a combat zone or hazardous duty area, you may be eligible for an extension. It's important to note that the deadline to file your tax return is separate from the deadline to pay taxes. While your tax return must be filed by April 15th, 2019, you can extend the time to pay your taxes to October 15th, 2019. Tax filing season can be a stressful time but by filing your taxes on time you can avoid additional penalties and fees. If you need help getting your taxes prepared, you can consult a tax professional to make sure you meet the April 15th deadline.
